What is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner?

A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a nurse practitioner that has specialized in caring for mental health concerns. We receive training in medication management as well as therapy. Our training is unique in that as a nurse we are taught to view treatment holistically as well as an emphasis on patient education. 

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance and am an out of network provider. I will provide a super bill at the end of each appointment. 

What are your Fees?

What is a super bill?

A super bill is a type of receipt that I will provide at the end of each appointment. If you have a PPO insurance you might be able to submit the bill to your insurance to go towards your deductible or for reimbursement. 

Codes that are typically used are: 90792, 99215, and 99214

Do you offer online appointments?

Yes, I offer online as well as in person appointments. If you are interested in only online appointments there might be times that it is necessary to be seen in office for assessment purposes as well as changes in laws that mandate how often a patient needs to be seen in person.
